BIOGRAPHY

Connor Williams is a patent attorney practicing in the areas of mechanical, electro-mechanical, and design patents. His experience includes preparing and prosecuting patent applications in the areas of agricultural implements, aerospace products, automated vehicles, control systems, appliances, power tools, heat exchangers, and general mechanical equipment. He also has experience with opinion work, developing lists of potential competitors for new entrants into the patent field, and discerning and predicting clients’ competitors’ IP strategies.

Connor is known for strategic thinking and is motivated by aligning patent scope with long-term business objectives to secure meaningful protection that supports business growth.

While in law school, Connor served as an editor of the Iowa Law Review and as president of the J. Reuben Clark Law Society at the University of Iowa. As an undergraduate, Connor did research with the Robotics and Dynamics Lab as well as the BYU Transportation Lab. Connor is an Eagle Scout and speaks Swedish.

Outside of work, Connor enjoys playing pick-up basketball and board games, as well as spending time with his family.
