BIOGRAPHY

Paul is a patent agent practicing in the areas of industrial biotechnology, genetic and immuno-diagnostics, pharmaceuticals including biologics, nucleic acid therapeutics, and small molecule drugs, fermentation technologies, engineered microorganisms, medical devices including drug delivery and coating platforms, and synthetic and biocompatible polymer synthesis and use. 

Paul specializes in patent preparation and prosecution and conducts and assists with patent portfolio analysis, patentability searches and investigations, freedom to operate studies, and invalidity and non-infringement opinions.  Paul has worked as a scientist at Argonne National Laboratory and as a postdoctoral research associate at the University of Minnesota’s Department of Immunology.
