BIOGRAPHY

Paul has a degree in chemical engineering and works with a wide variety of chemical, mechanical, and electromechanical technologies. Technologies covered include renewable energy such as solar, thermal, and biofuel; food; agricultural; chemical synthesis and processing; semiconductor processing techniques; semiconductor materials; healthcare; and computer hardware and related manufacturing equipment.  

Paul serves his clients in a variety of intellectual property areas, including managing United States and international intellectual property portfolios; developing intellectual property strategies, especially in the context of a larger business strategy; drafting legal opinions relating to the validity or infringement of United States patents; and assisting litigation counsel. 

Paul is also an Adjunct Faculty member at the University of Minnesota Law School, teaching a patent application drafting course.
