BIOGRAPHY

Brandon is a patent attorney who helps clients develop and protect intellectual property. He works with individual inventors, growing businesses, and multinational companies to prepare and prosecute utility and design patent applications in the United States and internationally, including foreign counterpart and PCT applications.  Brandon advises clients throughout the patent process, from evaluating new inventions and developing filing strategies to managing established patent portfolios.

With a background in mechanical engineering, Brandon has worked with innovations across a wide range of industries, including aerospace and aircraft systems, automotive and transportation technologies, advanced materials, manufacturing and industrial equipment, fluid-control and hydraulic systems, medical devices, consumer products, packaging, renewable-energy systems, and electromechanical technologies.

Before entering the legal profession, Brandon worked for a defense contractor in Minnesota, where he helped design technologies for future military applications. This engineering experience gives him firsthand insight into the product-development process and helps him communicate effectively with inventors, engineers, and business leaders.
