BIOGRAPHY
Andy is a patent attorney practicing in the areas of chemistry, biotechnology, and pharmaceuticals, including small-molecule and biologic therapeutics, peptide and nucleic acid chemistry, immunology, transcriptomics, assays, and diagnostic methods. Andy’s practice includes patent preparation and prosecution, patent portfolio strategy, product lifecycle management, patent due diligence, and freedom to operate analysis.
Andy has more than 25 years of experience as in-house and outside intellectual property counsel supporting global pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and industrial product development. He has worked at Fortune 500 companies, mid-size biotechnology companies, and venture capital funded start-ups, as well as at large philanthropic organizations and research institutes.
